Too bad they don't like each other

Two precious girls with different personalities but they are the very best of friends!

Watching "Dora" on their bunny

Kate LOVES to read to her sister(whether Lauren is listening or not...)

Sharing their "ride"

They scream "race" and one follows the other(laughing all the way)

Why go down when you can go up?

Lunch at Freddies with friends

Only in Austin would they be naked and "going to Central Market"

School Pictures

Kate had her second set of school pictures a few weeks ago. The first set was done in late Sept of last year(2007). A change in haircut and she has grown...a lot....

Bikes at Queenie and Grandad's

Our driveway is pretty steep so bikes are usually ridden on the sidewalk or in a nearby cul-de-sac. We also found a new location (although it is full of paparazzi and oklahoma dogs!):

Resting with her dad
Being two...

Queenie and Grandad had some good friends come visit last week. Dave and Deb live in Connecticut and are some of the dearest people around. It was so nice to get to meet them and we hope they come back soon. Here are dinner pics of our "all-you-can" eat barbecue:

PS My tooth surgery on Friday went fine. I am still pretty swollen but everyday I am able to do/eat more. Thanks for all your good wishes and prayers. This was probably the worst that I will have to endure and it is nice to be through it.

Why the girls need naps...

Sadly, I am having more work done on my teeth. Today I picked the girls up from school and had them come with me to see my dentist. I bribed them with ice cream and no naps if they were good. Both did so great and made me so proud! They did get ice cream(as did their increasingly toothless mother).
We came home and all got comfy in our pajamas...good thing-they both have been out for 45 minutes now....

So much for "no naps" as a bribe!?!

New Bike!!

Kate got a new bike last week. She finally gave up a certain babyish thing and we are SO proud of her!

We took a ride around the neighborhood wearing both of the adults out!
Pictures of the end of her first ride(and really the first time we have had a nice afternoon in a couple of days!) are below.

Sister has to try it too!

This morning, as Dan and I were eating breakfast, we hear "we're sleeping" from our bedroom. Here is what we found:

Night-night....(if only it were always this easy!)
