First Swim

The girls are taking swim lessons at our gym. We were so worried that Lauren would not get in the water(she spent all last summer on land-she refused to even put her toes in....). Once we got to the pool, she did not hesitate and went right in. They both did so great and can't wait to go back. Here are first swim lesson pics:

Easter

The girls had a good Easter-more egg hunts than any Easter bunny should ever have to endure...He did visit our house on Easter Sunday but did not hide any eggs(the last hunt held their attention for less than two minutes).

Lauren LOVED visiting him at the mall though. She would not get within 50 feet of him, but she will tell you all about how he has "big eyes" and "big feet". There is a whole monologue she does if you mention the E.B.(made the mistake of asking her about it as I was putting her to bed-twenty minutes later we were finally back to "one for the money").

Easter Cookies

The girls and I have not done much baking lately...Easter was a great reason to pull out all the sprinkles and frosting for cookies. Here are the pastry chefs at work:

Spring Break

We had such big plans for this week-good weather and a list of things to do...sadly we have spent the last two days at the doctor. Yesterday we found out that Kate has a respiratory virus and double ear infection.

Today, Lauren went for her two year well check. We got all her measurements-he said that she is a bit on the skinny side for her height(who would have ever thought!) but her language skills are beyond average(Jon Benet charmed him pretty good). She also has a cold and woke up from her nap with a fever. We will be laying low in our pajamas and preparing for March Madness!
